Yoovis
With its curriculum-based app YooQuiz the edu-tech start-up focuses on learning through play – whether alone, with friends, in a community or with the family. The YooQuiz app helps students from elementary school to high school graduation learn and review material efficiently and playfully, and can also be used by teachers for instruction. Yoovis Education is working at full speed to offer its entire learning ecosystem starting in the fall, facilitating collaboration between students, parents and teachers.
YooQuiz: Knowledge league for content relevant to teaching
With YooQuiz, anyone can play curriculum-based questions in training, single-player, duel or group mode, or create their own groups to “match” friends and family, or compete in a knowledge league. Teachers also have the option to create entire classes or schools as groups, allowing for intra- and inter-school tournaments. The tournaments focus on content relevant to lessons and exams. This not only promotes playful learning and increases learning motivation, but also increases the competitive and team spirit.
YooQuiz is free and therefore the ideal learning game for school, at home and everywhere.
Starting in the fall, it will also be possible to create your own quizzes and teams.
Founder team from the Upper Austrian Almtal with Carinthian expertise
“When I was looking for a digital learning support for my children about 4 years ago, I didn’t find anything that was really good – neither in terms of content nor usability. So I started to look into it more intensively and have been developing a digital training and learning ecosystem since 2017,” says Christian Stundner from Gmunden, founder and idea provider of Yoovis Education.
He is supported by advertising agency boss and Yoovis Education CMO Dominik Raberger, who comes from Almtal in Upper Austria and focuses on the start-up’s usability and marketing strategy. The founding team is completed by Carinthian startup expert Mario Orasche, who is responsible for financing and strategy.
